This construction also allows for the back to flex ever so slightly without any compromise to the strength of the chair.  Solid walnut hardwood construction with bridle joinery and invisible mortise and tenons for exceptional strength. The coopering in the seat provides superior comfort. Hand applied oil and wax finish.
