Accent Tables

Equinox

Equinox refers to the moment the rays of sun extended indefinitely in all directions, when day and night are approximately equal; Spring Equinox and Autumn Equinox. The contrast of the seasons and light passing between, one waxing one waning. This contrast can be seen between ash and walnut and the rays between create a striking union. Tapered angled walnut legs are stabilized and strengthened by traditional bridle joinery. The grain matched ash top effectively recalls the natural flow of the seasons.

Designed and hand crafted by Christina M Vincent.

Equinox II

Tapered angled walnut legs are stabilized and strengthened by traditional mortise and tenon joinery. The grain matched split ash tops are held firmly together by a kumiko pattern. Designed to be displayed individually or together as one.

Snowy Egret

The Snowy Egret is said to be the most graceful of the herons with white plumage and long graceful black legs. After creating this intricate side table pair, Snowy Egret, was decidedly fitting. Solid walnut legs both tapered and planed to an almost cylindrical shape united together with bridle joinery. The base is secured to the split Ash top via sliding dovetails, demonstrating both perfection of design and structural longevity.
